Home About Shipping Shipping futon frames has a number of challenges for an online retailer. The most difficult are:
Unlike many futons suppliers on the Internet, we actually stock most of the best selling futon frames we show. We ship the same or next "business day". We provide tracking numbers so you can determine what day your product will arrive. (Platform bed frames ship UPS direct from the manufacturer in about 2 weeks) You can check on the status of your order right from our website. The 16 frame styles in our Futon Package Gallery are in stock in our warehouse and ship the next business day. We know of no other site on the Internet that offers this kind of selection, in full or queen size futon frames, that can do that. We use terrific packaging and our damage has been almost zero. The August Lotz frames will easily assemble into a really nice, well made and sturdy futon frame. The Frames in our other Futon Frame Gallery are drop shipped from the manufacturer and are shipped to your home or business via regular trucking companies and can arrive in about a week or two... or more, depending on the manufacturers' stock situation. Back orders are not uncommon with the Adonis styles from us... or any other site. Our Platform Beds are also dropped shipped, but each bed is custom made to order and sent by the manufacturer. This company has virtually no back orders and the products are shipped via UPS or Fed Ex and are brought direct to the house. Frame styles from Collegiate are also drop-shipped quickly and most ship via Fed Ex. In congested cities, a 3rd party cartage company with smaller trucks is necessary to make the residential deliveries for most futon frames or packages. All deliveries are "back of the truck". But, most drivers are happy to help get it in the house... if asked nicely and a Tip is involved! Inside deliveries are at extra cost...usually about $50. Please e-mail us for a quote on "inside delivery". The August Lotz frames have the best packaging in the business and in 5 years we've had almost zero damage. Other futon products on the Internet that we've seen, also ship with trucking companies but require you to file a freight claim if there is damage. (we know there is a good chance that could happen for many of the products we've seen, and are familiar with their packaging) Meanwhile, you get to wait with your broken frame until the claim is processed and the replacement part is sent to you. Futons Now! has a better way. ALL of our August Lotz futon packages and Platform beds are designed so we can ship any replacement part within a day... without a hassle. No freight claim is necessary. We have the parts on hand and you need your futon! |
