are made by two of the few companies making futons who can "garnet" their own
raw cotton. This allows for superior cotton batting and quality control. Layers
of cotton batting are pre-compressed during assembly, and tufted by machine for
maximum strength and durability. These products meet all state and federal guidelines
for safety and flammability standards. Our Deluxe, Plush, Plush Plus and Sealy

The Futon Mattress is a
product category that has real problems. Even the most diligent shopper can
be misled. Generally a "hand-stuffed" futon means... "homemade." Inconsistent
amounts of cotton, incorrect number of "tufts" and thin casings are often the
result. And please, if you want a futon that will last more than a few months,
stay away from the colored futon mattress sold in the discount stores. They
are stuffed with recycled scraps from clothing manufacturers and have no resilience.
